Onto more serious (though not by much) matters.

This weekend I am going to a con. It is tiny, unlike others I have been too and never done anything about. I figured since I missed AX this year, I will be going to this one. It is called OmniCon, and for the sake of having something to post about, I have made a FaceBook. *shudders*

Upon this Book of Face, I shall be posting pics and minor posts of the events there and really… That’s about it.

Neatest thing about this year’s OmniCon is that I shall be meeting the Black and White Power Rangers (Mighty Morphing, of course)! *fangirl squee*

I will make little posts about it and stuff, and oh my… I should make a Twitter.

So why did I went back to the old layout? Simply because the other design wasn’t working out for me like I hope it would. Anyways, I’ll do some more articles when I get around to it, for now I’ll lead it at this.

Anyways, what’s been new is Shira Oka is now finally out and can be bought here at Impulse Driven and I’m very excited about it and you should buy it!

Also what’s been new is that I’ve finally decided to taken the dive and actually start studying up on and practice for the A+ exam just so I can become A+ certified to open more doors (and get the heck out of my current job).

Also going to try to get a few things done around the site if I’m not too lazy (yes, I’m lazy, but you all know that already).

And Tron: Legacy is awesome watching it in IMAX 3D, GO WATCH IT!

Second, you’d probably noticed that I haven’t really been updating much.  Just like Horo who’s been busy and been stressing in real life, same thing is happening for me as well.  Been stressed to the point that I really don’t feel like playing or watching anything and slept for the most part of the day and go to work at the evening.

Anyways, I’ve started picking up on C# again since I should really learn how to program, got some ideals in mind that I was to start programming.  I started back up a few weeks ago after a co-worker was kind enough to give me a copy of Visual Studio 2010 (which, in my opinion, is actually a big upgrade from 2008 because of the nifty .NET 4.0 added features).  So I’m learning that right now and trying to get myself better at it.  Look forward to a few applications that I’ll be making when I get better at programming.

Other things that’s been happening in my life is that I’ve been watching some old series that I haven’t either started watching or didn’t finished watching (most of the series I’ve started from the beginning).  I’ve decided to wait until batches came out so I’ll just download the batches and watch them that way until I catch up (which might take me months depending on how motivated I am).  Current series includes: Air Gear, Nagasaret Airantou, and Ghost Hunt.  Those are only a few that I’ve been switching back and forth on, there’s many, many more that I’m watching but too many to list off.  What I might do is change the format of my little rant space here.  See, I was originally going to use this space to also review anime series as well but haven’t in a long due (mainly due to what I stated above) so I might review some older series until I’m able to catch up and actually decide to start downloading episode by episode of newer series.  Who knows, but stay tuned to find out.

Anyways, can’t really think of anything else to say currently so I’ll leave it here for now.

Anyways, over the past few weeks I’ve been working on and off on my site (if you haven’t already tell) and I think I got most of it the way I’d like it so far. Still got a few kinks to work out but mostly there in terms of the overall site for desktop viewing. Why did I said desktop viewing? It’s because I’ve added support for Smart Phones. Easy to browse and read my post from your Android phone, iPhone, iTouch, iPad, BlackBerry, etc. Simply go to scsa20.com on your smart phone and it take cares of the rest. Of course there’s an option to switch to desktop mode if you wish.

Also, for the past few months I’ve been working on getting XBMC configured and working for library mode and I think I got everything the way I need it to be for it to auto grab series info and what not so being able to watch all my media files on my TV/Media Center without needing to search through everything is a big plus now. I’ll probably will film it of what’s it like later but for now I’ll leave it be since I still need to work on it just a bit more but it’s getting there.

I am Horo. I ‘run’ Horo’s Corner. It’s essentially an advice/discussion column that is significantly different than SCSA’s stuff.

Right now I’ve not much to discuss, but hopefully I’ll get there soon. With my Net and comp back to life, I can finally become a properly functioning member of proper Internet society again.
