And They Thought Otaku’s Were Bad

So the new Japanese Prime Minister, Yukio Hatoyama, is as crazy as his wife.  He suggested that Japan and the UN should create a “Thunderbirds” military unit, referring to the good old classic puppet show.

“A good idea came up. We should have the UN call for the creation of something like ‘Thunderbirds’,” is what he stated which raised a few eyebrows.  But from the looks it seems like he was referring to the creation of an international rescue force modeled on that of the TV series, using the Japanese armed forces.

So, honestly, where does this oddball Japanese people coming from and getting selected as prime ministers? Because if they allow this much craziness, I want to sign up to be the next on in line.
